How to Use the "Big Question" Tract
                                                                ? Remember this ?

                  BIG QUESTION ?

If you were to die this minute, do you have the assurance that you would go to heaven ?

Pray with me. Please repeat after me.

Dear God, (pause) I want to KNOW I will go to heaven when I die. (Pause) And I know God loves me (pause, etc.) and God has a wonderful plan for my life. But, I am a sinner separated from God, from God’s love, from God’s plan for my life. I need a radical life changing encounter with You, Lord. I am willing to turn from and I do now turn from my sin. I ask Jesus Christ into my heart and life. Please deliver me from every demon of hell. I now receive Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. I receive God’s love. I accept God’s plan for my life. I receive God’s deliverance. From this day forward, I will follow God. Thank You, Lord, for saving me from the place of torment forever. I now receive Your love, I now receive Your peace, I now receive Your plan for my life. And now I am assured a place with You in heaven when I leave this world. Thank You for giving me a place in heaven with You, forever. Amen.

Did you honestly mean that prayer?

How did it feel when you said, “I now receive Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord?”

When you get to a place full of unbelievers, there are three types of people you will meet: the proud, the saved, the ready.

Well why is that important? Because two of these types will be unreceptive or will waste your time. And you must remember that you are joining God in His work of rescuing men on their way to the lake of fire. We are not looking to waste time, we are looking for the ones who are READY to receive Jesus Christ and His new life and be born again.

PROUD: The Proud will justify himself or herself. “I am a good person.” “I pay my bills.” “I don’t cheat on my wife.” “I don’t skip school.” Or some other things that let you know that this is not a heart that God has prepared to receive Him today. We do not debate or try to make them ready. Remember, that is not your job to make them ready or to tell them they are sinners. God the Holy Spirit will convict and convince them, not you. So you say something like: “That is nice sir (or Mam).” Then, you, like Dr. Pastor Mark Jordan, invite the Proud to become part of No Greater Love. But you do not force a pray on them to receive Jesus at this point. Remember, join God in His work. You are God’s harvest workers. I have found that when I try to convince them they need Jesus, which they do, they want to debate you and justify themselves. So, last you ask the Proud one if he or she has any prayer requests he wants the men of No Greater Love to remember. If the prayer request is not really terrible or hard, . . . pray with them right on the street. Then just before you leave, ask the Proud for their name and address and write it down. Additionally indicate the prayer need and any other pertinent information, such as separated from wife, charged with sex crime. Once Brother Howard Madden prayed with a current hit man. And he received Jesus and asked for pray as he was going to go turn himself into the police for a murder he had recently committed.

SAVED: The second type (the saved) claims he or she is Saved, Born Again, On their way to heaven. Many who say this are honestly right with God. But, many who say this are not in a right relationship with God. Again it is not your job to find out if they are saved. WHY? You are not there to be distracted and you are without power to bring about the change. Only God can do that. God knows their ‘‘heart’’ or inner beliefs and their readiness, a lot better than do you. We are joining God in His work. We are His laborers for the harvest. This one is saying to you he or she is not ready today to pray to receive Jesus. God has given to Himself the task of making men ready to receive Him. And even if they have a beer in their hand and are dressed immodestly, it is not your job to tell the one who says he or she is saved or on their way to heaven, that they are going to hell. God the Holy Spirit will convict and convince them, not you. So you say something like: “That is nice sir (or Mam). Again, as Brother Mark Jordan does, you may invite them to join us in witnessing. I have found that some will join you. Once I gave someone some tracts and I watched them give them out and came back for more. But you do not force a pray upon them to receive Jesus at this point. Remember you join God in His work. You are God’s harvest workers. Talk with the Saved much the same you do the Proud. Ask if he or she has any prayer requests that he wants the men of No Greater Love to remember? If the requests are not really terrible or hard, take their hand and the hand of your witnessing partner and pray with them on the street. Then you might want to write down their name and address and indicate the prayer need.

READY: Finally we come to my favorite kinds of person, you will find that many of the people you talk with are the Ready. (And when you are back at your home church going door to door, more often than not the people will be READY). These people will admit that they do not know if they would go to heaven. Or they will say, “I will not go.” These people are honest and humble before God. These are the ones God has sent you to visit and pray with today. Ask them: Would you like to know for sure that you are going to go to heaven when this life is over? Any affirmative answer by them is an invitation for you to pray with them. I always take them by the hand, as if you were shaking their hand. Ask them to repeat after you. Say just a few words at a time. Then they repeat the words.

Heavenly Father, (then pause for them to repeat) I know that God loves me (then pause for them to repeat)and God You have a wonderful plan for my life. (then pause for them to repeat)I admit that my sin separates me from You, (then pause for them to repeat) sin separates me from Your great love for me, (then pause for them to repeat) and from Your plan for my life. And Lord, I do not know for sure I would go to heaven when I die. I want to know. I confess I am a sinner. Please forgive me of my sins. I turn from sin to You, Lord. I need help giving up sin. I give up my right to sin. I ask for a radical encounter with Jesus Christ. I ask Jesus Christ to forgive me of sin. I ask to be cleansed from all unrighteousness. Please deliver me from every demon. I ask Jesus Christ to live in my heart. Thank You for forgiving me. Thank You for cleansing me. Thank You for saving me. Thank You for coming into my heart. Thank You for delivering me from every demon of hell. I now receive Your Love. I receive Your forgiveness. I now receive Jesus Christ into my heart and life as my Savior and Lord. I receive Your deliverance. I receive Your plan for my life. In the Name and Authority of Jesus, I pray, ask and declare this all. Amen and amen.

Then you say: “Tell my witnessing partner (or someone they are with) what you have done. Did you just receive Jesus Christ into your heart and life to be your Lord?” (Romans 10:9-10,13 says if you confess with your mouth and believe in your and call upon Him, you will be saved.)

After they tell someone, then you ask: “How did it feel when you told them that you had just received Jesus Christ as your Lord?” You will have a wonderful time welcoming them into the family of God.

Then tell them they need to:

1- Read their Bible every day (Acts 17:11 & Romans 10:17)
2- Spend time in prayer to God daily. (I Thessalonians 5:17; James 5:16)
3- Go be with fellow believers in a church where the Bible is preached. (Hebrews 10:23-25;
        Hebrews 4:12)
4- Share your changed life faith in Christ openly.(Acts 1:8; Mark 16:15)
5- Ask them to be in contact with you (exchange addresses or emails)

Brother Fred Bishop (founder and director of No Greater Love Mens Ministries) always tells us to pray for that ONE Divine (Godly) appointment. Then ask God to use you as His instrument to make a lasting impact upon that person. God prepare and use my brother, I pray.
